Much to the delight of everyone in this house [including Agatha Clare at the moment] I received a Cinemood Storyteller to review AND in hopes (theirs and mine) of experiencing some magical moments during the holidays. The opinions are mine, mine, mine — they aren’t contrived and they certainly aren’t scripted. And now [drum roll, please] I happily share them with you. I invited two families to give the magic a try just to see what their responses would be.
I am delighted by this little gem.
–It will project onto almost any surface the size of my very average hand to 150″.
–It’s noiseless–Sweet. Sweet. So sweet. That’s a big deal to me. The cooling fan is silent which means up to five hours of watching without any squeaking or high-pitched whining.
–The pre-loaded content is kid-friendly AND you can enjoy your own favorites when you connect any external USB drive with the OTG cable that’s included. Netflix? Yes–because WiFi.
Say, “hello” to our Cinemood Storyteller.
The projector is inside one of their protective covers–this one happens to be the Kit ‘n’ Kate cover.
When they invited me to try their projector magic, I had no idea [as in zero idea] how compact and light it would actually be–that’s portable with a capital “P.” It boasts image clarity up to 150″–from 20′. It boasts a rechargeable battery so there is no spider web of extension cords. Bonus.
It is easily one of the most user-friendly pieces of technology I’ve had ever tried managing on my own. The instructions they sent were clear, concise, and did I mention clear?
This little one learned the basic functions on her own.
It’s wonderfully simple to use.
See how compact it is? It fits into a purse. HELLO to airplane rides that don’t have a screen, long car rides, long lines anywhere and GOODBYE to stop touching me, he’s on my side, are we there yet, and I’m bored.
The Cinemood Storyteller comes with 120 + hours of stories, movies, cartoons, and a hand-shadow puppet option that was an instant favorite with the children in both families. And moi.
Oh, the places you can watch a movie!
I mentioned that it will project onto almost any surface. I tried it on a dinner plate, a piece of paper, a textured ceiling, a sheet, our Brazilian Cherry floor, a pillow, a piece of wood, my backpack, a chair seat, a cushion, several walls, and a comforter. Awesome.
How’s this for a Happy Holiday: Cinamood is running a December promotion which gives a 25% discount to anyone before Christmas. Anyone.
Use the promo code : SWEETCNM for a free [as in no moolas extra] smart cover, a $49 value. Adding the cover not only adds extra protection but it also provides more pre-loaded
And of course Agatha Clare enjoyed it!
