Olaf Valentine FREE Printable | #2

Olaf Valentine FREE Printable | #2

[This is a repost from a set of Valentine printables that made their debut awhile ago. They’ve made their way back to the blog for a couple of reasons.

One–it was the first time I offered a printable and I felt brave.

~grin~

Two–these are the posts that y’all liked the very most. Thank you for that.]

It’s the second Olaf Valentine’s Day free printable.

Here’s the first one.

>swoon<

I can’t imagine that my nieces are the only ones whose hearts go melty when they see Olaf.

“This is adorable! Alice liked it too. She yelled ‘My Snowman!’ and then hugged my laptop and burst into a rendition of ‘Let it Go’.”

That’s not a made up anything. It’s a real and true testimonial.

From a two-year old.

~grin~

I can’t possibly be the only one whose heart went melty when they watched this.

Prince Charming hasn’t charmed as many folks as this little guy.

Here’s what you’ll find when you click on the printable link at the end of the post.

[Minus the rug frame and the Sweet Creek Moon.]

Here’s the completed valentine just in case you want to skip over the tutorial and get right to the printable.

Here’s a ‘how-to’ for the first Valentine that might answer any questions you have. If it doesn’t answer your questions, please let me know and I’ll answer as quickly as I’m able.

–Print the Valentines (4/page)

[Please print the your first attepmt–a practice one–on a piece of copy paper just to make sure it’s centered and all that.]
–Cut the 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper into quarters.
–Place a candy heart (it will become the balloon) where e’er you’d like. Mark the point of the heart with a dot.
[A little dot–not an elephant dot. You’ll see why. Oh–and don’t tape the treat on yet. At this point it’s just a reference for placement.]
–Draw a quick bow [because balloons float away when they’re not tied with a string].
I know you already know this–but just in case there is one of you that will benefit from it–WoO-HOo!
It’s very much like a fancy figure 8 that in no time at all you will be whipping out like a pro.
–Add the balloon tail.
Some are worth melting for string
–Write what you need to write–the to and from part.
–Tape the candy heart in place.
Voila!

From this:

To this:

Now is the time for everyone making the valentines to do a little happy dance of completion.
Simple is true.

Ta-da! There’s your Olaf free printable for the day.

Mmwaaa.

Two down–two to go.

This was awesome. Thank you for the free printable. It only cost me $4.50 CAD at the copy and print centre to get 5 sheets (20 valentines) printed on glossy cardstock and they cut the sheets into quarters for me!
