Me + that bow = true love

Handsome Dude is so much more than a handsome dude.

Not kidding.

Not only is he the resident smarty-pants, fix all of everything guy around here–he’s the app I can’t seem to get anyone to create.  He can do pretty much everything that I find too intimidating or icky-yucky or kill-spidery to do.

Lest you think (erroneously) that he’s the only one around here doing astonishing things every moment of every day, let me show you exactly what it is that I bring to the table.

[Well, besides the super human efforts I make to raise the children–or pick lint out of the carpet.  Just as a side note here, after living in a home for 4 1/2 years–way back in the pre living-outside-of-the-country days–I had a friend come over to help pack or clean or something and she calmly turned to me and asked me what I did all day.]

Wait. I find myself needing to add a bracket within the bracket for the sake of clarity.

[[FYI–my face is a fairly expressive one–eyes included–as well as nostrils–and the combination must have indicated some surprise (when she asked the question) because her eyes went all “was that an odd question to ask” right in front of me.]]

[[[Which it was–but she was (and is) a dear friend and sometimes even dear friends (me included) say the most interesting odd things.]]]

Back to the original bracket.

[She asked that question.  My face did what it does–and then I poked her eyes out calmly wondered aloud how it was possible for her to be unaware that I watched telenovelas to increase my understanding of the culture and language of the Inuit peoples whilst munching on any variety of chocolate delicacies.]

There are oh, so many blog post possibilities coursing through the intricate circuitry I call a brain that I can hardly even focus.

I pause to write them down.

Which seems like no pause at all for the reading audience.

Except for the magic of blogging.

See?  Didn’t that seem like the longest 3:55 minutes of your life?

~grin~

[The lyrics are riveting.]

Back to what it is I bring to the table.

Bad photos.

Which is true–but–I was trying to do a selfie (which I had supposed that females were supposed so be intuitively fabulous at–no–so very definitely no).
Focus on the bow.  It’s adorable.  And–it’s the unmistakable color of sunshine.
Now.  Here’s the brilliance.

Can you even stand that you know the someone who just came up with that?

[Seriously. I love that I know me.]

This is a rather bright photo of three hair bows that I will be using for something other than hair bows.

BoOm.

That is all I have to say.

Except for this short story.

There once was a lamentable elastic bow belt that allowed itself to be used but thrice (which is Inuit for “three times”) before it became useless as an elastic belt because the elastic stopped. Just completely stopped.  But the bow was still a bow and was quickly removed from the hill-billy elastic piece.

Now it is a fancy shmancy bow tie.

Can a girl have too many accessories?

Not yet.

And that is all I have to say.

Except for this.  It would be super-duper to the Sweet Creek Moon and back simple to make one of these bow ties from a small $1 store doily or any piece of material that struck your fancy, and attach the clip to the back.

Not kidding.

That’s the back.

And that’s the end.

For real.
