Blog Wars
Blog Wars
That’s the name of the competition created and organized by Just Between Friends.
The premise is exciting.
The prizes are out-of-this-world.
Here are the sponsors (I’m not kidding–ALL of them are sponsors):
—the wood connection
—Breathing Space Conference
—Riley Blake Designs
—VeryJane
—Pick Your Plum
—Tiny Prints
—Happy Potamus Designs
—Cricut
—Family Share
I actually feel like I’m already a winner because I made it to the top terrific twelve.
~smile~
This is definitely a new kind of adventure. And who in this world even knows how it will turn out? Who even knows.
–four boxes with a variety of wondrous products
–four projects to make (if you make it through all three rounds)
–basically four days to create the project
–one chance to make it to the second round
We’ll just see how this goes.
BoOm.
Did I mention that the prizes the prizes are out-of-this-world, because they really are. I have a one in four chance of winning a prize. The three creative contestants who make it to the fourth round will all win something.
That’s a lot of sponsor generosity.
[I won a sack of groceries once because I answered the question: What would you call a camel owned by Bogart?*]
The winningest of the twelve current contestants will walk away with a camera–a really fabulous camera. (The kind of camera that would require a class or two just to learn how to use it successfully and efficiently.)
Seriously.
And–yes, I completely understand that if I win Blog Wars, I will be responsible for paying taxes on the camera provided by familyshare.com.
It would be amazing.
Let’s see if I can come up with some amazing of my own.
And with that–let the race begin.
Well–let the actual race begin one week from today.
Sha-boom. Sha-boom.

11 years agoHump-free!!! Hahahha.
I must share: I kinda liked the visual that was running through my mind of you in a dreamy, drape-y, cool, cottony dress in the desert dining with Mr. Bogart. Then I remembered that ^ is a Hollywood thing — instead you would be wearing a HEAVY, black, embroidered tunic dress and bourque! Sorry.
BTW– you do know who this is, right?

11 years agoI think I might have guessed who you are from the Facebook clues. Are you the one and only Julie B? Please say if you are or aren’t. I am delighted out of my mind by anyone who leaves a comment on four posts. DeLiGhTeD!
