I thought it was National Eat Like A Pig Day

Oh, and by-the-way today was National Compliment Day.

I thought it was National Eat Like A Pig Day–but that’s tomorrow.  I just mixed them up. Which means I’ll do loads and loads of complimenting people tomorrow.

Because I ate loads and loads of grub today.

~grin~

[It’s easy to mix the two up. Uhmm–and you know that National Eat Like A Pig Day doesn’t actually exist–unless I am mistaken–which happens frequently. Please don’t confuse it with National Eat A Pig Day. But you wouldn’t confuse things–you’re too astute.]

From an illuminating and random site I googled, here’s an informative blurb:

This day is set aside to compliment at least five people. Not only are compliments appreciated by the receiver, they lift the spirit of the giver. Compliments provide a quick and easy way to connect positively with those you come in contact with. Giving compliments forges bonds, dispels loneliness and just plain feels good.

Which reminds me: Wow, do you have beautiful eyes.

In the case that you need assistance formulating compliments (which I am sure you don’t given your astonishing sensitivity) may I suggest this instructive blog.

[However, please don’t go there if at all you feel as though you will have fewer moments to spend with me. That is all.]

Look what else I found.

British English A compliment is a polite remark that you say to someone to show that you like their appearance, appreciate their qualities, or approve of what they have done. You can do no harm by paying a woman compliments.ˈkɒmplɪˌmɛnt NOUN

And just for kicks, giggles and a bit of merriment–here’s the voice I read this in.

[I’m rather delighted that I even figured out how to do that.]

Incidentally, I’m rather impressed by your remarkable sense of humor.

Which brings me to this:  To anyone who reads this blog, I say, “Thank you.”

Happy National Compliment Day, you wonderful bloggettes.
