great ideas living intentionally

Fourth and final round of Blog Wars–BoOm.

Not for one minute did I ever think I would be in the fourth round of a competition.

Not for one minute.

[I remember telling my sister that it would be thrilling just to get to the second round. I figured that being in the first round was a matter of luck because the contestants were randomly selected.  Being in the second round was a matter of people liking what you created.]

This is the Round One iron-on glitter vinyl project. (Provo Craft sponsored this round.)

You voted me through to the second round.

Thank you.

This is what I came up with for the Riley Blake Designs sponsored Round Two.  (Nine contestants working with fabric, buttons, and trim.)

You voted me through to the next round–and I skipped all kinds of skipping through my kitchen because of it. (Six contestants remained.)

Thank you.  Again.

[How in the world do you thank people for being supportive in a way that they believe you when you say it?]

ThAnK YoU.

Our Third Round sponsor was The Wood Connection–they provided each of us with a wood slat sign and sandpaper.

[This was the most difficult project for me to put together in my head.  I thought, and thought and planned and then thought and thought and planned.  My thinker was a mushy mass of blah.  I knew what I wanted to do but couldn’t puzzle out the details.  Until I mentioned it to Handsome Dude.  Boom.  That was the end of my puzzling.]

Here’s the Third Round project.

Not only did I skip around the kitchen when you voted me through to the Fourth (and final) Round–I danced.  And danced and danced. (Three contestants remaining.)

ThAnK YoU.  ThAnK YoU.  ThAnK YoU.

[My friend Jamie Younker is the photographer responsible for that photo–that fabulous photo.  Fabulous friend–fabulous photo.  Makes sense to me.]

The Fourth Round sponsor is American Crafts. Here’s a pic of what they sent–because I can’t show you the actual, factual project.  Yet.

I can’t show you the picture because (tun-tun-tun-tah) you can still vote. As in right now.

There are three really great projects to choose from–and of course, I’m hoping that you choose mine. ~smile~

Here’s the place of voting: Fourth and Final Round of Blog Wars.

The results will be posted on Monday morning.  We’ll see how it goes.

[I’m pretty excited to show you the final project.]

By-the-way–any guesses about which project you think took me the longest to complete?
