Back to basics–six outfit ideas–January 23

I interrupt this week of all things Olaf and give you another six outift ideas for this last week of January. Pics of my six outfit picks. ~smile~ Let’s see what you think.

#1–Vera Wang top–random, really great knit pants/trousers/no they’re not leggings or jeggings or jeans–black boots
This is a comfortable, low-maintenance, fantastic outfit.

[Low-maintenance meaning there’s no tucking in, pulling up, straightening, smoothing or anything required once it’s on.  Nice.]
#2–Kohl’s cardigan (I added gray flowers to the pockets)–Navy blue Downeast basic tee–tiered casual skirt from somewhere–gray flats–ADORNit necklace

This outfit is super comfortable and cute.

[Oh, by the way–there’s a new camera in our house. A new camera. Which means that pictures may start improving. I keep dreaming of such a thing.]

#3–Kirna Zabete at Target sweater (intentionally purchased in a larger size)–green scarf purchased on ebay–black and white polka dot flower clip–Downeast jeans–boots

One of the great things about that sweater? Any color looks great with it.

#4–ADORNit jacket (the sleeves used to be long–but because I’m the sheriff of the sewing/craft/creativity space in this house I lopped that extra fabric right off to make a 3/4 sleeve)–a random gray lace peplum top–Old Navy jeans–boots–aqua necklace (because color is fantastic)

It’s a close up of the necklace. See why I wear it with red? It’s a great color combination.

#5–Donna Ricco dress–black shrug/bolero–black elastic belt with flowers–fabulous shoes of awesomeness (Noelle)

[Annie took this picture. Which is why it’s brighter and righter.]

A close up of those shoes.

#6–ADORNit wrap jacket (I don’t even know if that’s the real and true name–it’s just what I call it)–purple scarf–Old Navy jeans–red boots

I love that wrap jacket.

Sometimes a post is a mini-bit of a post because there’s nothing more to say. And there you have all six outfit ideas for the week.
I hope something caught your eye–or gave you an idea. Or two.
