DIY great ideas living intentionally Tutorials

First things first

First things first.

[Drum roll please.  And flowers–flowers strewn upon the cyber space red carpet of friendship and love.  Oh–and chocolate in dizzying proportions.]

This is one of those wonderful moments when Sesame Street can say in 0:35 seconds what I have had in my heart since last Friday.

Seriously.  I mean it. Thank you and thank you. It’s for real and true.

I’m competing against some phenomenal bloggers. Talented and popular. Bloggers who have more than two readers.  Bloggers who have 1,000’s of Facebook followers.

~grin~

~sheesh~

I know I have more than two.

And I love all three of you immensely.

Thank you for bringing me to Round Two.

You might have been a bit confused with the monogram.

You might have expected:       h-d J m        handsome dude  JONES  moi

I loved that you saw past the confusion and voted for my project.

This picture shows the fabulous glitter in the vinyl just a little bit better.  It’s really beautiful. (And definitely more stunning that you can see in these photos.)

The darling chair is brought to you by my sister, Bonnie. Thank you, Bonnie.

[I’m actually testing to see who reads this blog.]

The fabulous green and brown houndstooth is brought to you by my niece’s wedding.  Thank you Charli and Owen.

[Still testing.]

The beautiful chocolate turtle cake on the crate is brought to you by sweetwhimsycakes.com.  Thank you sweet whimsy cakes.

[Except that one is totally a dream–but let me tell y’all–truly–click on the link and look for the July 12, 2012 entry.  Turtle Cake.  BoOm.  That’s what I want to be eat when I grow up.]

The green fabric with the bird silhouette is brought to you by Sadie. Thank you Sadie.

[Which reminds me, I need to have my picture taken.]

I love how it turned out–all bright and fun–and would happily post a tutorial if even a single solitary person is interested.  Just say, kay?

Here are the materials for Round Two of Blog Wars.

This is fabulous, my friends.  Fabulous!

We don’t have to use everything–we’re the boss of that. ~grin~

You know that I’ll be inviting all the three of y’all to vote again on Friday. I won’t be able to tell you which one my project is–but–I will send every square bit of positive energy your way to increase the chances of you getting it right.  Maybe you’ll vote for it because it will knock your socks off.  Just maybe.

Oh–and just so you know, I missed being in the top two by only 15 votes.  15 votes.  I missed being the number one-fun-in-the-sun choice by only 26 votes.

Which means feel free to invite friends, classmates, roommates, aunts, uncles, neighbors, salesmen, bingo-bongo-zumba groups, and dextrous pets to vote.

I would be ever so grateful.

Now excuse me while I go and finish up a project.  See you in Round Two.
