Front door | Winter giveaway
Welcome to the Front Door — Winter Giveaway
Winter giveaway.
I love giveaways.
They are one of the simplest ways to thank y’all for even stopping by.
You’re pretty wonderful.
Thanks for every comment.
[I adore comments. Seriously. There’s a dance I dance when a comment notification pops up.
It’s a super special kind of celebrating dance —
that no one will ever get to see.
Just know that it happens.]
Thanks for ever even coming back to visit.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
It’s winter around here — that’s what the calendar indicates anyway.
I’ve been waiting for a good ol’ fashioned, wonderful, gigantic snowflake snowstorm to announce this giveaway.
Not happening.
[Except that if upon waking on the morrow I find snow blanketing the surface of the surrounding landscape —
I. will. rejoice.]
No matter.
Today is the day.
It’s a favorite.
Benfield [that’s the name of the snowman] was created to welcome visitors to our front porch through every snowy, wintry month.
I love having something on our door, but there’s not a bone in my body that wants to change it up very often.
At all.
The polka dot burlap backdrop is a new addition.
Love it.
It looks a bit like snow falling, which just makes me grin.
It’s not part of the giveaway, but I plan on showing you how to put one together.
[Hopefully next week.]
And no, I absolutely did NOT paint those polka dots on a piece of burlap.
No. No. No.
Here’s another look at that adorable front door.
~grin~
It’s staying up as long as there is snow in them thar mountains.
[Say that with a bit of a hilly-billy accent and it will make so much more sense. Say it aloud and delight anyone who is standing nearby.]
And seriously, that polka dot burlap is still making me smile.
One more detail pic aaaand one pic with those fun trees lit up and we’ll get this giveaway party started.
I adore this little guy.
Benfield for President.
The pic with the trees all lit up and wonderful?
I love that porch which is a good thing because it’s connected to our house.
~grin~
Okay.
Enter as many times per day as you can.
Someone will win this fabulous front door snowman banner and it might as well be you.
Good luck!
Thank you again for stopping by.
And by the way, what color is your front door?

10 years agoI know you are like a decorating wizard, so maybe you have ideas for a big (I mean like gigamtic) wall that is very high and very big…. to bring joy and homieness to….maybe…

10 years ago AUTHORThank you, Rachel! They are a lovely way to cover the front door. The knothead who selected the door was thinking about “pretty” and not “privacy” when she chose it. She would be me. ~grin~
