Let’s just work together

Sometimes it feels like what I’d like to do [left hand, fingers spread, palm up, arm bent at a 90 degree angle, placed somewhere in front and slightly to the left of center–eyes open widely] and what’s actually happening [right hand, fingers spread, palm up, arm bent at a 90 degree angle, placed somewhere in front and slightly to the right of center–again with the eyes opened widely]

…are somehow existing in entirely different solar systems.

[At this point both arms are opened as widely as is humanely possible.]

And no matter how I try [pause here for effect] I just can’t get the two within speaking distance of each other [both hands are now claws and back in the spots they occupied initially]

— let alone actually working together [hands clasped in that way that only a grandma can clasp them when she sees her grandbaby for the first time] as they ought.

[Or that’s how they do it in the movies, anyway.]

I am pleasantly at the task of figuring it out.

Until then–may you be as delighted and distracted by this little video that depicts (rather accurately) the struggle I am presently struggling with: the do (Mr. Magician) and the actually happening (Hungry Bunny).

[British accent, of course.]

~grin~

[In any accent you would like.]

Sha-boom.
