Luck or gift put me here
I spent quite a bit of time this weekend with one of the most creative people that I have the good fortune of knowing. Well, I actually know several creative people. Okay–all (as in every single one) of the people that I associate with are creative in some capacity or another.
Let me say that I spent quite a bit of time with one of them this weekend: Jodie. We had the opportunity to interpret at the Logan Time Out for Women event at the Kent Concert Hall.
Wonderful.
And because of where we were sitting, we had several rather convenient opportunities to take pictures with the folks who presented at the event: speakers and musicians.
This is Jodie with Michael Mclean.
They obviously go way back.
Priceless.
I had a picture taken with him as well. However–I’m not posting it because I am the boss of this blog.
~snerk~
I will post these, though.
Here’s one of Sara Wells and Kate Jones (no relation) of Our Best Bites Blog.
Here’s Chris Williams.
If you are familiar with Mormon Messages, you may recognize his face.
Forgiveness: My Burden Was Made Light It’s a remarkable story.
Here’s Jericho Road.
Sweet harmony.
So–uhm–at the risk of being alienated by the three people reading this–or pummeled –I admit that I don’t own any Jericho Road music.
But that could change.
(I heard this song today and loved it.)
And of the many people who generously thanked us for being there, the young lady who left this note made a particular impression.
I took a picture of it.
Jodie took it home to share with her equally (no exaggeration) creative husband.
It was a delightful way to end the event.
Happy October 13th.
what do you think?
