Oh–I’m not throwing the shirt away . . .

Dilemma:  my white t-shirt has a stain on the front of it

Resolution:  a row of stretchy lace

From this:

To that:

In twelve minutes flat.

Truly.

Because I have stretch lace in my craft room at all times (a slight exaggeration because sometimes it’s on the family room floor) this was a simple fix.

And because I have a lot of lace, I decided to add two rows of it.

Ta-da.

Simple and speedy projects are fabulous.  I don’t have many of those.

But I do have them.

[pause]

I suppose this next bit of news will not come as a shocker to many (if any) of you.

I’ve added to my list of projects to complete. I am certainly still in earnest about finishing the projects that have accumulated over the years–but yes, I’ve added to the list.

It didn’t start out that way–I just wanted to put together a fun Christmas package for a friend who always seems to send her packages to me light years ahead of when I send mine to her.

I don’t even remember how I learned about these guys–but it cracks me up that I even gave them permission to send me notification (I don’t sign up for daily stuff like that–I can’t give you a good reason for that other than I just don’t) of the day’s ‘fruit’–a plum, as they see it–which is available for me to ‘pick’ until the ‘fruit’ has been harvested–or–the day is over.  (I can’t for the life of me imagine that they have any fruit hanging at the end of the day.)

The fruit is a wildly fabulous array of crafting items and products–and it is suh-weet.

Here’s a link: Pick Your Plum

The plan has been to collect a variety of things that she could actually use for her class–or for herself.  A fun project for me to put together hoping that this package has the possibility of arriving at her home before 2013.

But it quickly went from deliberately collecting things just for her–to collecting things for me as well. ~oink~

That’s a photo of two scarves, eight gift boxes ( 4 polka dot and 4 plain), two sets of cupcake holders (a stripe set and a polka dot set), plus a LaffyTaffy.

They send a LaffyTaffy in every package just for the fun of it.

Hmm.  One of the scarves actually looks like the color that it is.  One doesn’t.  It’s the navy blue one–because that one is black.

[With all of the technology we have–with all of the technology we have–how is it even possible manufacturers don’t have a tiny little robot in every camera box to take photos for you?]

They offer crafting items and other fun stuff:
     –fabulous crafting items
     –wearable/usable fabulous items already made
     –it’s online
–they offer a fabulous daily deal until it’s gone (‘picked’) or the day is over
     –shipping is extraordinarily reasonable
–or you can pick it up

Fabulous.

Well–here’s their very own mission statement.

Please note–I’m not selling anything.  I have no investments in the company (other than the dollars I’ve been spending).  No one contacted me–they don’t have a clue I’m doing this and I’m not lobbying for free stuff.

Except if it’s a really cute coat with a ruffle or two. And maybe a pair of shoes. Or a darling new pair of glasses. ~snirk~

That’s a photo of several polka dot cupcake liners (they make great gifts–especially if you combine them with a fun recipe and some sprinkles or something), ric-rac (one thing I’m going to do is add it to a sweater), baby girl headbands, plain blocks (for painting or mod podging scrapbook paper/material to), rub-on stickers, and a LaffyTaffy.

I think my friend is going to like what I’m planning–and you have to know that I’m not posting the contents of her package, right?  Because I think she reads this blog every once in a while.

They have some astonishing deals.

Sometimes they have a super stupendous colossal big deal–with only an unusually limited quantity available–and it sounds really quite wonderful.  But know this–unless they are offering to sell a little photo taking robot–I will NEVER get up early enough to snag one of those deals.

Here’s what I clicked on Friday: It’s Vinal-ly Friday! 50% Off

Can’t wait to find that package on the porch.

It will almost be as delightful as the flowers that have been showing up on my porch on Sunday mornings for several weeks now. Almost as delightful.

Thank you! After posting this, my niece let me know that she had a link on her blog that would do the same thing. ~smile~
