On the second day of Christmas…

When I committed to that ‘super wife of the universe’ thing, I completely forgot about planning and stuff.  That certainly doesn’t mean I can’t be creative and catch up and eventually land right-smack-dab on the day that it’s supposed to be–oh no–it doesn’t mean that.

Because watch this:

On the SECOND day of Christmas (which was yesterday) his true love gave to him:

A pair of Men’s Pro-trainer training gloves (with Sport-tac).

[Translated correctly that means a glove for the left hand and a glove for the right hand which equals two–which is utterly convenient because that matches the day of Christmas that it is was.]

By-the-way: Handsome Dude used his get out of jail free card.

[And he would like another one.  That will make the THIRD day of Christmas easy-shmeasy. Making another Christmas wish come true–that’s what it’s all about bloggettes–that’s what it’s all about.]

Oh, and here’s another ‘by-the-way’: ever heard of Alfie Boe?

This is Alfie Boe.

[Go ahead–listen to the song and just try NOT to feel all melty.]

On the SECOND day of Christmas we heard Alfie Boe sing this song.

It was marvelous.

“What star did you wish upon for that to happen, Sweet Creek Moon girl?”

[Of course you are wondering. Of course.]

A friend gifted us tickets to attend a Christmas concert with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Orchestra at Temple Square, and Bells on Temple Square with special guests Alfie Boe and Tom Brokaw.

It was marvelous and joyous and wow.

Tom Brokaw shared the story of The Candy Bomber. It’s a great story–absolutely worth repeating.

“The gratitude breaks down the walls between people when one’s grateful.”
     –Hal Halverson, the Candy Bomber

I’m pretty thrilled that I found this little snippet to share.

When I grow up I’d like to be a candy bomber.

Happy SECOND day of Christmas.
