Scrappy Spring Pillow Giveaway. ~sigh~ That phrase goes in that particular spot because there are guidelines at the bottom of my creating page right now that suggest I put them there. I don’t know exactly why–as yet–but I’m doing it. You know something? I don’t have a single, solitary idea why the switch to WordPress has pretty much immobilized me. Really. I could build multi-story homes in the same amount of time it takes me to lay these fingers of mine on a keyboard and plunk out a post. I could establish a government for the people, by the people. I could circumnavigate the globe, my friends. Circumnavigate the globe. [shoulder shrug-eyebrow raise] I dunno. That being said–I bring you a post. The Scrappy Spring Pillow Giveaway post. That’s the big deal about this particular post. This is the big deal:
I’ve had the makings of two [yes, two–as in there’s one more] pillows spread out on the floor in the space between the couch and the tv for approximately 15 days.
[The second pillow is still in a state of construction. Pictures and process are in the works.]
This little guy is the size of a travel pillow: 15″ x 10″.
It’s the perfect size for a chair, a bench, or a seat that happens to be on your front porch. It would fit on a couch in your house, or a seat in the front entryway. It would even sit ever so delightfully on a table with a vase full of yellow flowers at its side–or just behind.
Seriously. This pillow.
Is it possible that I’m the only person with a love for pillows bursting in my bosom?
I don’t think so.
Raise your hands proudly if you have more pillows on your bed than there are children on your block. I mean children in your household? Or–okay–let’s not make it about neighbors or offspring.
Raise your hands proudly if you have more pillows in your house than you have pounds on your body. Don’t lie.
I don’t need to know your weight–but–you have a lot of pillows in your house/apartment/shed/tent/yurt/room/mansion/coop/cave/condo/penthouse/flat/living accommodations. You know what I mean. Here’s the deal. I know you love pillows or you know someone who loves pillows [It’s you, and you know it, and I know it. And you know that I know, right?].
How many of you use your arms to pretend you’re a basketball hoop at the end of the day so that your husband can take shots with the lovely assortment of pillows that have to be removed before the bed is even visible
Hmm?
Me either.
Let’s get this giveaway party started.
Here’s the pillow.
Here’s you winning the pillow.
Go check your closets. Check your mirrors.
If you have any of these particular clothing items in your closet–including those terrific orange shoes and the stylin’ green shorts [if I was allowed to draw with a stylus or something besides the tip of my finger these pictures would totally rock the blogging world] you might be the winner. If your face has no nose and you have dark rather astonishing hair–you might be the winner. If your legs and arms are approximately the same thickness–at any point–you might be the winner.
Let’s just see how this goes.
Here’s the rafflecopter of helping you win.

11 years agoI love pillows…..I make them from clothes I have worn or friends and family have worn…like prom dresses, my Madrigal dress, my moms wedding dress, dresses I had made in Thailand….you know, the things that just don’t fit anymore and you can’t seem to part with…they become pillows!

11 years agoI love the ruffle flower in your SpRiNg pillow and I have orange hi-heeled sandals (I live in Miami beach therefore they are acceptable)! Did you use a #2 pencil to fashion the ruffle (as tubing for shape and size)? Keep up the great and lovely projects! Barbi
Teresa @ Sweet Creek Moon
11 years ago AUTHORThat flower is my favorite part of the pillow. I’m posting the tutorial for the pillow in the next day or two, if that helps at all. ~grin~ And I didn’t use a #2 pencil.
