This pumpkin will rule the world

This pumpkin will rule the world

I think it’s quite impossible to have creativity without having courage. Think about it. Sometimes we’re filled with courage about trying and saying and doing and being new things–but we don’t recognize that THAT’s what it is. [I can do the Cowardly Lion voice. It’s a gift.]
I found this rather marvelous video on YouTube–this video has 4,132,424 hits.  Which means that one person is doing nothing but watching it OR there are a lot of people interested in what she’s saying.  It’s 19:32 minutes long. It’s called: Elizabeth Gilbert–Your elusive creative genius (author of Eat, Pray, Love). She explains the difference between what being a creative genius and having creative genius is.
She asserts that we all have creative genius.
I will watch it a few more times to understand it so well that I can clearly explain it.
Here’s another creativity link.  It doesn’t have as many hits (581,501) and it’s only 1:54 minutes long. The desire to create is basic to every human soul.
Not in an ‘out-do’ each other kind of way, either–but in a rather remarkable ‘can-you-believe-the-astonishing-capacity-we-have’ kind of way.
Speaking of astonishing:  The-Handsome-Dude-Jones planted a tiny little pumpkin seed hoping it would grow.  Wow, huh?  I predict that this pumpkin will one day rule the world.
And look at this astonishing piece of lovely green fluffiness.  Once it has been modified I believe Aunt LaVicKa will be delighted by it.  (Yuh.  You’ll notice there are NO sleeves, NO shoulders, and NO straps.  Uhm.  There’s almost NO bodice.)  But, I’m feeling courageous about it.  Creativity to complete the task is just around the corner . . .

And–this perfectly polka dotted Duck Tape (not a misspelling–it’s the name of the brand: Duck Tape) isn’t so much astonishing as it is delightful. It’s going on a pair of blah brown flats I purchased.
I’ve covered a pair of blah flats before.

They are NOT perfectly wearable–they are adorable–just not perfectly wearable. I’m going to try again.  With modifications, of course.  I have a few ideas about improving the process.
I’m hopeful.
Oh–and one more thing: I’m going to let anyone reading this know that I want to be in bed in the same day I wake up.  Which simply means I’m going to be in bed by midnight. And maybe posting it will make the just right amount of difference.
Which means I need to softly dance myself to bed–to the tune of a sweet and favorite lullaby: All Through the Night.
Sleep well, sweet moon.
