4 Dreamy Hair Products and a Winner.

I’m all kinds of delighted to say that we have our winner.

[And 4 dreamy hair products — just not in that order.]

Winner post title photo

[Uhn — huh. Uhn — huh. Uhn — huh — unh — huh — unh — huh.]

You are precisely the kind of folks I enjoy being able to say, “Thank you” to.

One of these days, when I’m 7 days shy of being remarkable wealthy, I will run a giveaway where everyone wins.

E – V – E – R – Y – O – N – E.

The giveaway would run for 7 days which means the remarkably wealthy part would come in the just right nick of time.

Seriously.

That. would be awesome.

Because I can’t stand that you don’t know you’ve won yet —

Drum roll please.

Congratulations to: Rachel D.

Now to sharing 4 dreamy hair products.

‘Dreamy’ is another word for I love these guys.

Winner post

[I love the berries but it’s the heart shape I’m after.]

I’m a gal that has had fine, thin hair all the days of her life.

All the days.

Fine, thin, curly hair.

‘Fine’ is another word for limp.

‘Thin’ is another word for wispy.

[And zero body.]

‘Curly’ is another word for not curly sometimes and often frizzy.

I love my hair.

In a top knot, a high pony tail, straight, curly, braided.

I love my hair.

Mostly because products are true.

Here are those 4 dreamy hair products I use in the order that I use them.

Dreamy Product #1–Beauty Protector

4 Dreamy Hair Products for fine, thin hair

[No it’s not for your face.]

Birch Box introduced me to this one.

There are a mess load of things it claims to do.

–detangle

–protect from heat

–protect from UV light

–it’s weightless

–it’s non-greasy

–it conditions

–did I mention it’s weightless?

Here’s the application part: shampoo, condition, and towel dry your hair.

Hold the bottle 4-6″ away from scalp and spray away/mist away.

[I usually turn my head upside down and spray. I just feel like a model when I do that.]

Use your fingers to disperse/diffuse/evenly distribute the product.

It smells fresh and it actually detangles my hair.

[Scent matters to me. A lot. I’ve slapped down many a moola for a pricey product with stellar reviews only to find I can’t use it because the fragrance knocks me out.]

I use a pick to “comb” through my hair.

It doesn’t pull very much which is excellent.

I love this stuff.

Now–in between the detangler and this next one–I use a volumizer. I alternate between three or four that I really like.

I don’t use a ton–usually about a nickels worth amount-wise in the palm of my hand.

Again with my head upside down, I use my fingers to gently disperse the product hither and yon. Far and wide.

Use a pick if you want.

And then comes this.

Dreamy Product #2–Miss Jessie’s Pillow Soft Curls

4 Dreamy Hair Products for fine, thin hair

This one also came to my home via Birch Box.

[By the way: No. None of these were free products.

No. I’m not getting paid to tell you how awesome they are.

No. They’re not even aware that I’m telling y’all how awesome they are.]

Just thought you’d like to know.

“Wash N Go *A fluffy soft curl* For people who don’t want ramen noodle definition and instead want a larger expanded curl.”

Dreamy.

Dreamy.

Dreamy.

I swirl a slightly less than quarter-sized amount in the palm of one hand and smoosh it with my other hand.

[If my hair was shorter, I would use a nickel sized amount.]

By now my hair has air dried a little which is fabulous.

Using my fingers, I make sure the ends and middles, the roots and my bangs have been touched by this magical stuff.

[I also rub my head because that’s dreamy too. It would even be dreamier if someone else was doing it.]

I don’t pull my hair during any part of this process.

No pulling.

Using a dryer set on low, I scrunch my hair until it’s dried.

Of course my head is turned upside down.

~grin~

Time for another heart.

You know that there are three more days until Valeninte’s Day, right?

And Dreamy Product 3# — Big Sexy Hair What a Tease–Backcomb in a Bottle

4 Dreamy Hair Products for fine, thin hair

This can be found at pretty much every local store.

When my hair is styled [completely dried] I use this to lift the roots on and around my side part, my bangs and the crown of my head.

[Where my tiara sits.]

Lift the hair, backcomb if you’d like, spray this directly at the roots [don’t spray the same amount that you’d use to kill a spider or something.]

That would be too, too much. Let go of your hair.

Let it set.

I use a very fine pic or the end of a tease comb to shape wherever it is I’ve just sprayed.

It works really well.

And that’s how I’d leave my hair for the day.

All cute and darling and fabulous and not limp or frizzy.

Boom.

The next dream product is for the next day and the next sometimes.

Dreamy Product #4–Fructis Re-constructed Texture Tease

Winner post texture tease

Believe me when I tell you I’ve tried no fewer than 9 dry–shampoos.

Nine.

My hair is splendid when I don’t wash it every month day.

This product helps out like a ninja.

Shake-shake-shake the bottle.

Spray from 6″-8″ away from your scalp.

Spray from your roots to mid-shaft.

Squinch and scrunch your hair–rustle your hands about a bit.

And voila!

It’s a keeper.

There all keepers.

And there you have it.

One winner — winner — oo — la — la and 4 dreamy hair products.

Except I wanted to sneak in one more heart photo.

Winner post 2

It’s Valentine’s Week, my insta friends.

Valentine’s Week.

I hope your day is merry and bright.

And that there is eventually snow to dance in.

That needs to happen.
