Crazy for Daisy dress giveaway | Nov 24

It’s a Crazy for Daisy dress giveaway.

It’s a g-i-v-e-a-w-a-y, my blogging friends—a Crazy for Daisy dress giveaway. [The crowd cheers. Applause fills the air. People are skipping.] ~grin~ Seriously, though. One of you reading this post is going to walk away with something you didn’t have before you started reading this blog. [Excellent stuff, really.] I’m teaming up with a local boutique–the boutique that has invited me to make a few really fun tutorial videos in the last little while. [So much fun. ~sigh~ I have dreams of actually being brilliant at it one of these days.] Remember that one time that I made a super cute, exceedingly adorable dress for a couple of super cute, exceedingly adorable little girls? I used the kind of fabric you wish everything was made of. The kind that is soft and wonderful and beautiful and you could just wrap yourself up in it and watch a movie or read a book or make a dress for a little girl or something. The fabric of your life. [smiling-smiling-smiling].

The fabric came from the ADORNit Shoppe. They have so much in their shoppes [they have two local boutiques and an online store] that would make your eyes go all wide and your heart sing. It’s fabulous. [They do more than design and sell fabric, my friends—so much more.]

Okay. I’m just going to stop right here and show you an adorable outfit. I happen to be in it and let’s just agree right now that I could clearly be America’s Next Top Model. Clear-ly.

americas next top model

Mostly I say simply don’t be frightened–just focus on the top I have on. And the scarf around my neck, the scarf on my head, and the tassle necklace. It’s all from ADORNit. And, yes, double yes, I paid for it. The only person snagging a free something is the one of YOU who will be entering this giveaway.

Speaking of the giveaway let’s not talk about my modeling opportunities [which are pouring in, by the way, lest you think otherwise].

It’s a ‘Crazy for Daisy’ dress because Iused fabric is from ADORNit’s Crazy for Daisy line. [I know. Seriously. They designed it.]

There are a multitude of ways to create a dress that’s a one of a kind piece of art. Borders, ruffles, trims, color combinations, textures to infinity and beyond. Well–to a lot and beyond.

These two dresses are different but wonderfully coordinating.

You aren’t even looking at the dresses.

I know it.

You’re looking at that adorable faces, right?

Yuh. I did the same thing.

You’ll enter to win this adorable little dress.

It will fit a 2-3 year old as a dress OR a 4-5 year old as a tunic. Paired with leggings and a little cardi would be all kinds of fabulous.
I’ll definitely need a picture of the lucky recipient in the Crazy for Daisy dress/tunic.

Definitely.

Here’s the fabric I used to make it.

And here’s the dress you’ll win.

[Of course, it could be YOU.]

And here’s the tutorial on how to put one together.

[Because as extravagent and wonderful as it would be to give everyone a dress–that is just not happening–spoken by the person who would be making every one of them.]

[Buh-buh-buh-bonus. YOU have the benefit of knowing the person who put the video together–soooo if you have ever do want  to make one of your own and have any questions at all—hello to moi. Seriously. Go to my Sweet Creek Moon facebook page and message me any questions you have if you don’t want to ask them here.]

Remember back at the beginning I told you I have a dream of actually being brilliant at this? Three words: work. in. progress.

Always.

I want to show you a delightful sequence of photos taken by my bright and beautiful niece, Charli.

They are wearing the same dresses, but she added a little shirt underneath as the temperatures became a little cooler. Now, she simply adds a cardigan to extend the wear of the super cute, exceedingly adorable dresses.

YOU are definitely going to win. Why not?

What a great way to start the week. I hope you have a splendid day.

And good luck.

By the way–what did you think about the text of the post being centered? Do you have a preference? You are the ones I’m hoping come back to read this so it might as well be like YOU like it. Centered or Left Justified?

The giveaway ends on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014.

Here’s what you do to enter. [Remember that there are multiple ways to enter.]
