Six outfits–and then six words about outfits. [Might I suggest an accent to assume before you begin reading the next few lines–try a thick Bronx accent–starting now. Let’s just start again.] Six outfits–and then six words about outfits: It appears that I have a lotta clothes. That’s more than six words. Whatevah. Here’s the deal. What I actually do is ask neighbors if I can rummage through their closets until I find something I like and then basically take ask if I can borrow what I find with a parting remark that sounds something like, “Get over it, you can totally buy new stuff” “I’ll bring it back all laundered and everything, okay?” It works for me. [Ta-da. The end. No more accent.] Okay. You must know that’s how it sounds in my head, right? Really. I don’t have an explanation for it. As I’m typing, I hear the words spilling out in the order that they come–and often say it as I type it. And there you have it: information you will probably cherish for the rest. of. your. life.
Cherish.
~grin~
Six outfits.
#1–Comfortable–crazy fun to wear–and cute.
#2–I love to mix patterns. Polka dot cardigan + gingham button up shirt=fabulous.
#3–This great sweatshirt top is heavenly for a couple of reasons. First–it’s sweatshirt comfortable without looking sweatshirt comfortable. Second–there is a party going on in the back because it’s made of lace. No, there isn’t a picture. Except that the little pocket on the front is made from the same lace, which will give you an idea. There’s also a tiny sliver of the lace showing just under my left arm on the side. It’s a great top.
You know that I know that you love those sweet, sweet shoes, right?
Boom.
So BoOm.
#4–Which brings me to this outfit which I adore, adore.
That skirt. ~sigh~
The top. ~yeh-yeh~
Those boots. ~swoon~
It’s a great outfit.
#5–Gray on gray is an easy combination that becomes more interesting with the added texture of a lace peplum. [The unfinished edges on the jacket don’t hurt, either.]
The top is unlined but becomes a quick standout with an off white tee underneath.
I brought in a pop of color with the coral necklaces, added teal flats, and voila, another winning outfit.
[The bows, the bows, the marvelous bows.]
#6–This photo is horrible in oh-so-many-ways. For starters: Uno) I’m not ten feet tall. Dos) I’m not bursting with child. Tres) That door is not yellow.
But–that jumper is really cute, and that’s what we’re here for.
The shoes are worth mentioning.
Yes. My second toe is longer than my big toe.
On both feet.
I’m rather fond of those feet. And those toes are delighted to be covered in their first coat of spring color.
Six outfits.
And just about three hours left to enter the pillow giveaway.
Here’s where you do that. GoOd LuCk! The winner will be announced tomorrow night. Sha-boom.
