Fashion great ideas Useful Tips

Six outfits in six minutes if you’re a fast reader

Warning.
–If poor photography makes you cringe, run away.
–If you are mortified by inconsistencies in brightness, contrast, color of walls, and cheap mirrors that cast a reflection in your favor at least as many times as against it–this post is not for you.
However–if you just want some ideas for combining some clothes–and stuff like that–then stick around.
Here’s the heart of the matter: Erica requested some outfit ideas.
[She’s just the kind of person who frankly tells you if she likes what you are wearing. It’s quite delightful.]
She currently has a few more ‘extra moments’ to peruse social media–for reasons she is at liberty to disclose–not I–and I thought that now would be a super pleasant and quite convenient time to entertain her request.
Here’s what I have, Erica.
I love the combination of purple and green.  Love.  The polka dots are just fun.
It’s a work outfit.

Switch the skirt out for a pair of jeans and it’s perfect for running errands or being at home.  The heels definitely come off with skirt.
This next one is a Sunday outfit.  It’s a fabulous sleeveless dress.  Slap on a bolero and I’m good to go.  (I love the beading around the neckline–no jewelry needed here.)  Purple polka dot burnout.
[You know how I mentioned inconsistencies in the wall color?  That’s happening right now.]
By the way–Handsome Dude is a better photographer than I am.  That will be glaringly apparent in a moment or two. These are his photos (the inconsistencies are mine–it’s me trying to figure out PicMonkey).
This is another work outfit.  Or Sunday outfit.
[Is it obvious that I like cardigans?  Among other things…]
Comfortable–which is always a bonus.  Except for the heels which are fabulous–just not practical.  I’ve worn this particular combination two different ways.
[You can barely see the necklace–but it’s a cream colored collection of five flowers with rhinestone centers.  Fab.]
This way:

And this way:
[You might recognize the hair bow-bow-tie which became a hair bow-belt-thingy. It was a way to add a little bit of color to the mix.]

[By the other way–Erica absolutely does NOT need any ideas about how to put a great outfit together.  Do whatever you want with that information–whatever you want.]
Here’s a definitely casual outfit.
[Let me pause for a moment and introduce you to the mirror of hideousness and despair.  No–I didn’t pay a lot of money for it.  Yes–I do believe mirrors have an obligation and responsibility.  No–I am not in the witness protection program.]
I love almost any shade of yellow mixed with gray (the vest) and blue (the shoes).  I’m a fan of comfortable and cute.  A big fan.
This second outfit is new for me.  I’ve seen the long tunic-length tops and wanted to try it out.  I found this cream colored top at ADORNit (they have some really fabulous clothes) and wasn’t sure I could pull it off.  I think I did.
Jean jacket–already owned that.
Neutral Tan Belt–I love my accessory drawer.
Coral Bauble Necklace–barely visible to the human eye–already owned it.
Black ankle boots–owned.
The new cream top–now owned.
[The mirror worked to my advantage this time. ~grin~ Now it is simply the mirror of lies and half-truths which is still a lie.]

And I haven’t lost 34 lbs.
Oh, dearest, darlingest Erica.  I hope this put a smile on your face at least once.  At least once.
Okay.  Just because there is a chance that someone would be interested–I have an Instagram account.  Actually two.  One is just for connecting to delightful folks and family.
[That’s the sweetcreekmoon account.]
The other is for the purpose of trying to sell items.
[That’s the sweetcreekcloset account.]
I’ve purchased clothes, boots, shoes, and jewelry that arrived and haven’t fit–OR–I didn’t love what they looked like on me–OR–they just weren’t what I expected–and the price for shipping them back was ridiculous.  There are little piles of items everywhere.  I want to remedy that.
So, I’m selling it.
[Handsome Dude will have cause to rejoice.]
On October 15th I will be selling 15 pairs of shoes for $15 shipped (which means I don’t add anything to ship them–which means I’m a serious about clearing them out).  You’re certainly invited to look.
It will happen around 5:00 pm MST (if everything goes as planned).

Shoes glorious shoes–sizes 7.5-8.5.
15 for $15 on the 15th.
BoOm.
How clever is that. ~smile~
